Your Tasks
As part of our motivated project team, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and testing solar products for commercial vehicles, actively contributing to prototypes, test setups, vehicle-integrated components, and taking responsibility for our in-house material testing. Your responsibilities will include:
Design CAD models of mechanical parts using CATIA V5
Create complete system assemblies and generate detailed assembly drawings
Conduct mechanical and thermomechanical tests such as peel, tensile and shear adhesion strength tests on our in-house pull tester machine
Analyze test results, document findings, and present them to the wider team
Support the project engineering team with component research, design concept documentation, and project planning (e.g., taking meeting minutes)
Assist in the creation and maintenance of system wiring diagrams
Collaborate with project engineers on prototype builds, test setups, and design improvements, bringing your ideas into real projects
