Financial Accountant (f/m/x)

Your Tasks
  • Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset accounting
  • Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closings in accordance with HGB; additional IFRS knowledge is an advantage
  • Support the audits and closely collaborate with the auditors
  • Prepare VAT returns and tax returns together with the tax consultants and work on other tax topics 
  • Contribute to further development of accounting processes and structures 
Our Requirements
  • Degree with focus on accounting, taxes or auditing, or comparable education e.g. certified accountant,
    tax specialist, or equivalent work experience
  • Min. 3 years work experience
  • You have a deep understanding of accounting rules and accounting principles according to HGB; additional experience in IFRS is an advantage
  • You have knowledge of / experience in VAT returns and other tax topics
  • You have a strong understanding of accounting processes, as well as risks and controls in the various 
    accounting processes
  • Analytical mind set, conscientious, independent, and structured way of working
  • Very good team and communication skills at all levels
  • Very good language skills in German and English
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office esp. Excel and accounting systems, ideally S/4 Hana skills
  • Experience in US-stock market reporting and/or Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) is an advantage
