As you apply for this role, we would like to give you some insights into our company culture and organization. At Sono Motors, we replace the traditional employer-employee relationship with a partnership at eye level.  When people transition from large organizations to Sono, we sometimes hear that they miss certain services, support, and infrastructure. We invite you to address these gaps with us. We see you as a creator of our company, not someone who only shows up to do their job. At Sono Motors, you take matters into your own hands, and you will achieve the desired impact. Our CEOs will work alongside you, and together with the entire Sono team, you will lead our organization. We expect you to take the initiative, contribute to our organizational development, accept imperfection, and communicate transparently. We call this #staysono; this is our culture.
About us
Vision, motivation and professionalism. Creativity and trust. Love for our planet. All of this unites our current team of nearly 40 colleagues. Together we fight for our vision, which we want to achieve with a new strategy and focus of our company: Offering Solar Integration for the transportation industry.
Our technology is already being used by more than 25 B2B customers, who are testing our Solar Bus Kit and other solar  integration solutions in a variety of vehicle architectures, including buses, refrigerated vehicles, cars and eTrucks/eVans.
Your way to us:
At Sono Motors, we want to attract people who will drive our vision with a high level of commitment and awareness of the impact of their own actions. We know that this is a high aspiration. But we want to be more than an exchangeable employer, because we want to make a difference with our work!

In addition to sending us your CV, we kindly ask you to answer one of the following questions (instead of a classic cover letter) - and don't worry, there is no right or wrong! Simply write the question and your compact answer on an additional page of your CV or in a second document:

  • What do you think is the biggest lever to live sustainably at this time?
  • What is more important to you: knowledge or skill? And why?
  • What is the most courageous thing you have done in the last few years?
  • You have an investor, what would be your start-up idea?

This gives us the chance to get to know you a little. We are looking forward to your application!
